A couple of days ago, a man broke into the office of our Internet publication, shouting that he has got a bomb in his shabby “Ukrtelekom” bag.

- I mean, information bomb, - he calmed down our employees.

Straight off plopping down onto a chair, the visitor winkled out from his bag a pack of rumpled papers - obviously, the nuclear warhead of his information “bomb” – and with his glasses put on the nose, he started out to scan their content, sharing in between some bits of his biography.

- My name is Leopold Vasylovych. I am the president of the society named “Administration-Smudging Society”.

- Oh, a very original name! And especially the acronym of it!

- There you are wrong, - Leopold Vasylovych said immovably, slavering his fingers to find the needed document.

- And could you name the members of … er, … the society? – we asked cautiously. – And why such president-phobic views dominate in the society?

- Our society consists of two members so far: my mother-in-law and me! – Leopold Vasylovych calmly answered. – And we never liked the president as a person! And his speech full of “pratfalls” drives me and my mother-in-law into genuine rage… But there is another reason, which brought me to you. Here it is, read! – and the visitor put a copy of a document onto the table.

Black-and-white copy of a letter printed against the president standard and endorsement “The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych” was worthy citing in full and uncut:

“To the Convenor of the Congress of All-Ukrainian Non-Governmental Organisations

Lukashevych N.I.

Dear Nadiia Ivanivna,

Dear delegates of the congress and the guests!

Ukraine as a sovereign and united state, irrespective of temporary problems bearing social and economical character, which have arisen within the recent years, strongly proceeds with building a civil society.

Your congress bears a special meaning for me, and the support you provide to me as the President and all the best representatives of the people is a speaking proof of our being on the right way. And in the nearest future, with our efforts joined we will achieve success in the development of the national idea, we will achieve stability and mutual understanding, we will avoid confrontation in the society, and will enter the highest level of relationships with the neighbouring countries and European world society.

I wish you good luck in all your civil public activities!

Best regards, Viktor Yanukovych”

There was a signature between words “regards” and “Viktor” slightly resembling the signature belonging to Viktor Fedorovych. Moreover, both the style and the content of this letter raised doubts in terms of its genuineness, especially such words combinations as “European world society” and “civil public activities”!

- This message to the Congress was declared from his tribune on November 20, 2010, - Leopold Vasylovych said trying to convince us. – All the delegates heard this message with their own ears! Furthermore, after the congress Nadiia Ivanivna Lukashevych personally e-mailed this letter to all participants of the congress!

Having said this, the president of the society hastily scrambled up all his papers into the bag and rushed away, but before he left he advised us to study thoroughly “another “pratfall” by Yanukovych”.

And we studied. As we assumed that this message was a fake. We were still astonished with the fearlessness of Nadiia Ivanivna Lukashevych, who not only drew up the ignorant letter, but also dared to fake the President’s signature, when assiduous “bomb-carrier” Leopold Vasylovych appeared again in our office, and this time again with another “bombshell”. Our assurance that Viktor Fedorovych Yanukovych had never referred to “dear” “Nadiia Ivanivna” and had never declared that the congress had born a special meaning to him, however, was not enough for him … He waived our statement that either Nadiia Ivanivna herself or someone from her environment faked the signature of the protector of the Constitution… And in order to prove that Viktor Fedorovych did greet the congress of All-Ukrainian Non-Governmental Associations, he got a copy of an interest-rising letter out of his “bomb-carrying” bag. And exultant with his Aspiration to Smear the authoritieS he left, either to his mother-in-law, the companion and the co-founder, or to other publication offices in order to bring them his “light of truth”.

The letter is worth to be cited in full as well.

The sheet of paper headed with the coat of arms of Ukraine contained the following:

Dear Kostiantyn Ivanovych!

Nowadays, there is a large All-Ukrainian Non-Governmental Organisation “Association of Non-Governmental Organisations of Ukraine “Narodna Rada” (National Council) performing its activity in Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as – UNGO “ANGOU “Narodna Rada” (National Council)). The association consists of: 12 international organisations such as international non-governmental organisation “International Anti-Terrorism Unity”, International Committee for Human Rights Protection, Public Initiatives Fund, All-Ukrainian Charity Organisation “Ukrainian Benefactors Association”, 15 organisations of reserve military men, 59 charity funds, 12 children organisations, 6 sport organisations, 16 organisations of disabled people, 6 Cossacks associations, 7 Afghan War and Chernobyl cleanup veteran organisations, accounting for more than three thousand non-governmental organisation in total.

UNGO “Narodna Rada” (National Council) keeps pace with the government performing under the slogan of uniting and consolidation of Ukraine as a state. The key goal of the association is the consolidation of efforts made by all non-governmental organisations to activate political, state-building and public aspects of citizens’ life, to form middle class encompassing representatives of artistic, educational, scientific, managerial and medical clerisy, as well as the representatives of small and medium business being the basis of the civil society.

We have not received an official response though. We only learned that both the office of S.V. Lukashevych and the office of N.I. Lukashevych were located at the same address. And that the founders of “EkolohiiaUkrainy”(EcologyofUkraine) Associationare two Kyiv companies, one of which renders dental service, and the other one deals with wholesale trade of “other mechanisms and equipment”.

P.S.In the telephone conversation, the Office of the President of Ukraine officially confirmed to us that there was no address to the congress, and, consequently, V.F.Yanukovych did not put his signature on it.
